The Australian Guineas is a Group 1 Australian thoroughbred horse race for 3 year olds at set weights run over a distance of 1600 metres at Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne in March. Prizemoney in 2006 is AUD$755,000.

  • From 1998 to 2000 this race was run over 2000 metres.
  • To be run at Caulfield in 2007 due to reconstuction of Flemington racetrack.
