Australearn is a study abroad program for college students wishing to travel to Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, or, just recently, Fiji. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the program currently offers semester and year abroad at 30 accredited universities, internships, summer and J-Term short courses, and university full degree programs.
Australearn provides pre-departure services (including help with the large amount of paperwork necessary to travel abroad), and continues to assist the students while abroad with services like Australearn South Pacific Educational Support, and Extreme Adventures (to suggest travel plans around your selected destination).
One of the most acclaimed aspects of the Australearn program is their four day orientation in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. The program offers sessions focused on Australian culture, health and safety abroad, the Australian education system, Cultural adjustment, and suggested travel destinations. Additionally, excursions to explore Australia will be planned, with the Great Barrier Reef, the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, and the Wild World Tropical Zoo among the activities typically included.
