Austin Winkler

Austin Winkler, Ph.D (25th of October,1981)He is the lead vocalist for the Oklahoma City based rock band Hinder. He wrote the band's breakout hit "Lips of an Angel", which in 2006 peaked at #3 on Billboard Hot 100. He writes most of the songs for the band, along with drummer Cody Hanson. Winkler supposedly consumes large amounts of alcohol regularly, though it is rumored that onstage he sometimes drinks water, claiming it to be tequila or another hard liquor. He has wanted to be in a band since he was 15, when he first saw someone play an acoustic guitar.[citation needed]
