My first work was published in 2004 in the work entitled, The Plot Thickens: Harry Potter Investigated by Fans for Fans. My minute piece analyzed the relationship between Niccolo Machiavelli's treatises on political decorum and the actions of Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge.

In 2005, my work on the 1861 prelude to Wilson's Creek within Missouri was reprinted at MilitaryHistoryOnline.com under an incorrect title. Since then, this article has been cited on the Wikipedia entry for the Battle of Wilson's Creek though not at my behest.
