Aursund (or Aursunden[1]) is a lake in Røros municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway.
The longest and largest river in Norway, the Glomma (pronounced and written Glåma in northern regions of the river) has its headwaters at lake Aursund at the head of the Glommadal.
