Aurora Heads

Aurora Heads is an American Trance/Electronic music band formed in 1987 by an American percussionist Asyrah and a Japanese synthesizer musician AQi Fzono in New York. They started as an underground Psychedelic trance / Rave performance band heavily influenced by 60s and 70s psychedelia and hippie culture. They called their audio-visual live performances Multimedia Visionquest that featured electronic and ethnic music, video drug and trance dancers. They released a couple of studio albums such as Mars Botanical Garden (1989) and Unexplored Region (1994). After the formation of Aurora Heads in 1987, they have used several other names for the band on occasions such as Acid Head Organization and Aurorae. Currently Aurora Heads is the only name they use. Currently they are based in the state of Washington, USA.

  • Aurorae (Unit) - Aurorae was a unit name tentatively used by Aurora Heads in their early phase during the late 1980's to the early 1990's in their collaboration works with other Trance/Techno artists such as Hypnotic Twin, Far East Acid House Quartet and Trance-Rave Daughters, mainly in the live events like Rave Parties. Currently this name is not being used. This is a different unit from Aurora Heads itself.
