Aurora the Community Channel is an Australian subscription television channel that screens programs about Australia and the Australian community. It is a non-profit channel, originally created by Marque Owen.

It was launched on March 1, 2005, and it is now broadcasting on Foxtel, Austar and Optus's digital networks. Aurora is available to all paying customers of these services on the basic tier, including business and educational customers. Programs cover many subjects including comedy, politics, religion, popular culture, the arts and entertainment.

The terrestrial broadcasters with official federal government issued community television licences contest the channel's use of the term "community television" as it holds no such licence. Some of these broadcasters have attempted to reduce supply of programming to Aurora by requesting collective exclusive rights to some third party productions.

Similar Australian channels include Satellite Community Television on UBI World TV, and Australian Multicultural Television. Both channels are available free-to-air, unlike Aurora.
