Aureo-Variegata (White elm cultivar)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The European White Elm U. laevis cultivar Aureo-Variegata was mentioned by Schelle in Beissner et al. Handb. Laubh. Benenn. 84. 1903, as U. effusa (: laevis) f. aureo-variegata, but without description. Henry (Henry & Elwes, 1913) briefly described it as "Leaves spotted with yellow", but the tree was never cultivated in the UK.
