Aups is a town of the Var département, in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur at 60km of the sea and 80km of the snow stations. Located in Provence at 500m alt, Aups is on the first butteresses of the Alps. The name of Aups in Occitan is Z'Aup or Zaou in Provençal of Mistralian norm. Its typically Mediterranean climate, make to the village a live heathly.
There is a colourful Provençal market every wednesday and saturday featuring local products and handicrafts.

Aups has got also the third black truffle market of France for his quality and his importance. This market is present every Thursday from November to February.
