Aukštadvaris

Aukštadvaris (Polish: Wysoki Dwór) - a town in Trakai district in Lithuania on Verknė river. Aukštadvaris features Maliwski Palace, built in 1837 by Antoni Malewski, which remained with the family until First World War (and housed a hospital after WW2). There is an old Adam Mickiewicz oak, under which the poet supposedly liked to sit.
