Augustus Daniel Imms

Augustus Daniel Imms (24 August 1880 , Moseley / Worcestershire- 03 April 1949 Tipton St. John near Sidmouth / Devon) was an English educator, research institution administrator and entomologist.
Imms was a professor of entomology at the University of Allahabad and a Reader in Cambridge University.
He is best known for

- Insect Natural History. New Naturalist, Collins, London (1971).
He was a Fellow of the Royal Society and the Royal Entomological Society.
In 1947 he was elected a Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences
