Augusto Farias is a Brazilian politician from the state of Alagoas.

Farias, a federal deputy, was accused of murdering his own brother, Paulo Cesar Farias. Farias also maintained a farm in Para with 140 rural workers entrapped in virtual slavery through debt peonage.
