Augustine Cardinal Bea (born on May 28 1881 in Riedböhringen bei Donaueschingen, Germany and died on November 16 1968 in Rome, Italy) was a Cardinal (the Roman Catholic Church).

He was ordained as a Jesuit priest in 1912 and was elevated to Cardinal in 1959. For sometime before becoming a Cardinal he was the confessor to Pope Pius XII. He became an Archbishop in 1962 and President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity at the Roman Curia in 1966.
