The Augusta Lynx are the ECHL team based in Augusta, Georgia. They currently play their home games at the James Brown Arena. They are affiliated with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL and the Portland Pirates of the AHL.
The team is named in honor of The Masters golf tournament held in Augusta, as a slang term for playing golf is "hitting the links" (Lynx is a play on words of that title.)
