Auchterhouse

Auchterhouse is the name of a village, community, and parish in Angus, situated northwest of Dundee in Scotland.
The village of Auchterhouse straddles the B954 Muirhead - Newtyle road, approximately 5 miles from Dundee. About 1.5 miles east lies the larger village of Kirkton of Auchterhouse where Auchterhouse church and school are located.
Smaller settlements, such as Bonnyton, Hosie Park and North Dronley, in the environs of these two villages, combine with them to comprise the wider community also designated Auchterhouse, served by its eponymous Community Council.
