The name consists of atla 'on the border of' and 'tonan 'our mother'. Therefore, the heading should be corrected. Too little can be said about this goddess. The various Aztec water goddesses should better be considered under Chalchiuhtlicue.86.87.62.150 21:35, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
