[edit] 1998 99 season record

Moved from Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)

If I am not mistaked the Falcons regular season record for 1998-99 was 13-3, not 14-2. Please research and correct this if neccessary.

Calvin

You are mistaken, they were 14-2. Their only losses were to the 49ers and Jets.

[edit] Improvement drive

National Football League is currently a candidate on WP:IDRIVE. Vote for it if you are interested in contributing.--Fenice 20:04, 16 August 2005 (UTC)

Did I just miss something, or is there really no mention of Jerry Glanville's stint as head coach? With the exception of Deion Sanders, he was the biggest name on the Falcons at that time. He is as synonymous with late 80's/early 90's Falcon football as anyone. Whoever wrote this article did a poor, poor job.

[edit] History section

As per Wikipedia:How to write a great article, the history section needs to be radically changed from a list to essay prose. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 17:13, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Now that this has been done, can we work on putting the history into past tense rather than the very awkward present tense it's written in now? --SuperNova |T|C| 20:44, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Handled. Although as a suggestion also, if someone could change the SI cover from the 1995 one on displayed to the one dated November 13, 1989 (with Sanders on the cover), that cover better fits the timeframe as well as Sanders' public image at the time. If someone can find one, great. If not it isn't a big deal. Wayman975 17:31, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alternate Jersey

Alakazam here, I went to athlegraphic.com to get the information on their alternate jersey. If I made any mistake on any detail of the alternate jersey, please let me know!

There was a mistake made when people believed O.J.Santiago created the "Dirty Bird" dance. It was really done first by Jamal Anderson in a game against the Saints after he scored touchdown. He didn't get any primary camera time for it, but you could see him in the background clearly doing the dance. He and O.J.Santiago also addressed the matter in an interview before a game stating the he did indeed create the dance, but Santiago got caught on camera first. Please stop giving O.J.Santiago credit for creating the dance!

[edit] Logo and Uniforms

WHY WAS THAT SECTION REMOVED? I AM IRIATE THAT I HAD TO PUT IT BACK. KEEP LOGO AND UNIFORM SECTIONS ON ALL PAGES PLEASE! TheSportsLogosMaster 02:58, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merge 1986 season article to main team page

The 1986 season was split off into its own article. Is there anything special about the 1986 season for the Falcons that I should be aware of? Guroadrunner 14:06, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Since it's primarily a history text, I'm changing it to merge with the History of the Atlanta Falcons. - BillCJ 05:31, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] History

I am going to summarize the history section considering there's a whole separate page for it anyways. McDonaldsGuy 05:14, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
