Atlantic City School District

Atlantic City School District is a comprehensive community public school district in Atlantic City, in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States.

The district serves approximately 7,300 residential students, in Preschool through twelfth grade. Students come from diverse ethnic, academic and economic backgrounds. There are over 2,600 language minority students who speak 34 languages. The student population is comprised of: 45.1% African Americans; 33.9% Hispanics; 10.1% Caucasians; 10.5% Asian/Pacific Islanders; and .4% American Indian/Alaskans. 81.5% of the students are identified as below poverty level based on the Consolidated Formula Sub-grant Application[1].

Students from Brigantine, Longport, Margate City and Ventnor City attend Atlantic City High School as part of sending/receiving relationships with the respective school districts[2].
