Atique Ahamad (born 10 August 1962) is an Indian politician belonging to the Samajwadi Party. He is the member of parliament from the Phulpur (Lok Sabha Constituency) in Uttar Pradesh[1].
According to his nomination papers for the 2004 election[2], criminal cases pending against Atique Ahmed include the murder of an undertrial named Akhtar in the Allahabad High Court premises in 1995, and conspiracy to murder Javed Iqbal alias Pappoo in Allahabad in 2001, in which one of Javed's bodyguards were killed.
