[edit] G'day!
G'day, Athelstanus! I notice you haven't been welcomed yet. Well, uh, please allow me to be the first to say: welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! One tip that I see will already come in very useful for you is this: did you know that if you end each of your edits on a talkpage with four tildes ~~~~ it will automatically leave your name and a datestamp there, so that other users will know who said what? Jolly useful, I'm sure you'll agree. If you've got any questions, have a butcher's at Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or feel free ask me on my talkpage.
By the way, we have a tradition on Wikipedia that revert wars are lame (even the ones that don't qualify as the lamest ever). Please try to keep a level head and not do anything utterly lame, even when talking to User:Skull 'n' Femurs. And, with that cheery note, welcome again! I hope you stick around. fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 01:59, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
