Athoor

Athoor is a small village in the Dindigul District of India. It is one of the legislative assembly of Tamil Nadu. Athoor is a beautiful village surrounded by coconut and mango trees. Rice cultivation is the major job.

Kamaraja Sagar Dam is situated in the west part of the village. The population is around 4000. The kodaganar river runs through the village which joins the kaveri river. Athoor has a beautiful catholic church which is about 50 years old.

Sadayandi Temple is situated in the hills cave.
