The men's 1500 metres was a track & field athletics event at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris. It was held on 15 July 1900. Nine athletes from six nations competed.

Bennett, who had led the entire distance by a small margin over Deloge, broke off in the final lap. He completed the last 500 metres in a time of 1:10.2 to finish with a total time of 4:06.0, a world record.
