In the USA would one call the different status of Washington DC (no representatives in Congress or the Senate but does vote in presidential elections) an example of Asymmetrical federalism? I know its not a state, but it is part of the territory of the country in a way that, for instance, Puerto Rico, Guam or the American Virgin Islands are not. --Neo 09:06, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
