Asyrah

Asyrah (born July 15) is a U.S.-based percussionist/electronic music artist, creating works mainly in the genres of techno, acid, IDM and ambient.

In the late 1980s, he began combining ethnic beats with electronic sounds. Complex soundscape of synthesizers and ethnic percussion instruments has become the characteristics of his musical style.

In 1987, he formed a Psychedelic / Raves band “Aurora Heads” with a Japanese synthesizer player AQi Fzono in New York, and recorded a couple of albums such as “Mars Botanical Garden” and “Unexplored Region”.

In 2000, he released his first solo album “Desert” that combined the inspirations from ethnic music and IDM movement, particularly from Illbient music.

Currently he is based in the state of Washington, USA.
