Personal opinion about The Star Wars Classic Trilogy:

"I think the Galactic Empire would have crushed the rebels even at the Battle of Yavin. They could just sent out their fleet and reduce Yavin 4 to slag while the rebels are attacking the Death Star. The rebels could also have been crushed at Endor, why didn't the Empire attack them? Would it make a difference if they did? Palpatine made some bad choices. the stormtrooper effect is too obvious: Han, Chewbacca, Luke, Leia and other special characters would have been killed very early in the War or in the New Hope.
