Uchuu Race: Astro Go! Go! is a girl-oriented racing game for the Super Famicom. The music present in this game is simple J-pop music that impresses young Japanese teenybopper females. The bright and cheerful racing cars is what also impresses and entice female players to the game. However, if you can look past the "gender barrier," the action is fast and is a combination of the music from the Winx Club, the Care Bears and the classic Super NES game F-Zero.
There is a time trial mode and a Grand Prix mode. In the Grand Prix mode, the player is given five chances to get third place or better. Losing five times will ask the player to cheer up, but the sixth loss will lead to game over.
