[edit] Summary

Scan (self) of early English edition (as replacement for American edition) as a better illustration. The cover is a parody of posters for the Elizabeth Taylor movie: Cleopatra which was billed as the greatest story ever filmed (with 'statistics') - and with inflation adjustments, still the top of the list of most expensive films ever made (after adjusting for inflation).
