Astelit is the third largest Ukrainian mobile telephone network operator, behind UMC and Kyivstar. In January 2005 Astelit launched GSM-1800 service under the life:) brand. Through aggressive marketing, Astelit has attracted 5.78 million contract and prepaid subscribers by March 2007.

Astelit's network area code are +38063******* and +38093*******.

The company is owned by Turkcell (54.2%) and Ukrainian SCM Holdings (45.8%).
