[edit] Anti-Hindi agitations
Vanakkam Asprakash,
I'm Zojoji. I'm a Thamizhan, and I've been adding stuff to the article on Anti-Hindi agitations, such as adding link to Tamil Tribune. While I'm happy that you have taken this important issue and put it on Wikipedia, it's not good to have opinionated comments like "The rat should be our national animal, the crow should be our national bird". Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and there's no place for emotional comments there. What we should do is to present the facts on Anti-Hindi agitations, and let the reader form his or her own opinions. If we put POV (point of view) comments, administrators may block the page, and we won't be able to communicate the facts of the Anti-Hindi agitations, and that would be bad.

Vanakkam,
Thank you a lot for your comments. Please be informed that this Crow story was told by Annadurai in 1962 in the parliament of India and this is not my personal comments

- Zojoji. That rat story is a quote which has been recorded in the parliamentary records and hence there is nothing wrong in reproducing that 'in toto'Doctor Bruno 17:59, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hosur online
Asprakash, First I did not understand what you meant by "Please leave politics away while giving info". Could you please clarify? Second, I notice you have been adding a website named "Hosuronline" to articles. Please do not use Wikipedia for advertising. I will be reverting that link everytime I see it. If you continue to add that website to articles, it will lead to that website getting black-listed from Wikipedia and you might get your blocked for spamming Wikipedia. And please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. -- Ganeshk (talk) 17:29, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Let me respond to your reply:
1. You said "where the comments passed on your comments on P. Chidambaram, Mani Shankar Aiyer and other political leaders."
- If you check history of P. Chidambaram, I have never edited that article. I have no idea what you are talking about. Please stop accusing others without providing any links to substantiate.
2. You said, "Please don't threaten saying you will block me."
- I mentioned that your continued additon of that website will get you blocked (me or some other admin). Adding's one own website/blog is highly frowned upon here. It is self-promotion and adverstising. Hosur-related or not, please stop adding that website to articles.
3. You said, "Stop spamming this public utility. Please stop hatred using this public utility."
- Yes, this is a public utility. But, it has policies and guidelines. You cannot use it for personal pursposes.
4. You said, "Also note that you are removing my signatures."
- Can you please show me where I removed your signatures?
Please be civil and just so you know Wikipedia has a no personal attack policy. Comment on the content and not the contributor. Hope you'd understand and contribute constructively here. Regards, Ganeshk (talk) 02:05, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Signature
Please do not include external links to your website in your signature. Please see this guideline on signatures. If you do not change the signature, you will be blocked from editing. Regards, - Aksi_great (talk) 14:18, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- It does not contain a link as in starting with http, but it is still advertising the website. The signatures must also follow wikipedia's username policy - that in no way should usernames (or signatures) promote a company or website. So please change you signature, and leave a signed message on my talk page confirming that you have done so. Regards, - Aksi_great (talk) 14:45, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Good job
Prakash, I checked your contributions. You are doing a good job removing link spam on many articles and keeping Wikipedia clean. Keep up the good work! Thanks, Ganeshk (talk) 02:19, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
