Aspartic acid protease

Aspartic acid proteases are protease enzymes which have an aspartic acid residue in the active site of the enzyme.
Examples include:
- Chymosin (or "rennin", with two "n"s)
- Renin (with one "n")
- Pepsin
- Plasmepsin
