Dear Mr. Tribble,
Everything you send read, understood, and approved.

May I ask how you come to be writing this article -- or is someone else going
to write it?

You are most generous.

The article was already there when I stumbled across it, and the history
shows that it was first started on 07-11-2005:
   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashleigh_Brilliant

It's a nice page, but it's rather short, and does not have an image
of you. So I thought (being a novice Wikipedia contributor)
that I'd locate a nice image of you and upload it. Hence the
request for permission.

This also means that I can't upload an image of one of your
potshots, since that's a clear violation of copyright.

I'd like to expand on the text of the article, too, but I can't
simply copy a biography from some other source (unless the
author of that source agrees to the GNU documentation
licensing used by Wiki); articles generally have to be composed
of original text.

Which means I could probably draw information from
"CONTEMPORARY AUTHORS",
   http://www.ashleighbrilliant.com/contempauthors.htm
but without copying it verbatim. I'll at least put a link to that page
in the Wiki article.

BTW, I've had a few of your books since my early college days,
some 25 years ago.
