Ashy Larry

Ashy Larry is a fictional character on the TV program Chappelle's Show. He appears in the second season sketch "The World Series of Dice" played by actor Donnell Rawlings.
"The World Series of Dice" takes place in the Marcy Projects, where Ashy Larry resides. He is extremely "ashy," a slang term that refers to a skin condition usually caused by extreme dryness, and he wears white boxer shorts, shoes, and socks. He gets into the tournament with money stolen from his girlfriend while he was taking out the trash.
He also appears in a day dream during another sketch where Dave Chappelle listens to a movie pitch during dinner with his "wife".
Ashy Larry is also a slang term for PCP, stemming from popular usage of the term "Larry" as slang for marijuana and "ashy" relating to the lighter colored powder sprinkled on top of it. "Ashy Larry" was used in this context by Wayne Brady in another Chappelle's Show sketch during a scene parallel to one from the movie Training Day, both involving PCP usage, where it could also be understood as another in-joke relating to "The World Series of Dice".
