Ashwini Kumaras

Ashwini Kumaras, in Hindu mythology, are the twins who were physicians of the Gods. They were renowned for their swiftness and knowledge.
In Mahabharata, the Ashwini Kumara twins fathered the two sons of Madri, namely Nakula and Sahadeva.
While they were originally not considered Gods and denied their share of the sacrificial offerings, on account of a boon from sage Chyavana, who convinced Indra, they obtained a share in the sacrificial offerings made to the Gods.
In The cult of Mithraism they appear in the company of Mithra as well as Varuna and Indra in 1400 BC, as the five beings invoked as witnesses and keepers of the pact (the peace treaty between Hittites and the Hurrian kingdom of the Mitanni in the area southeast of Lake Van), and all of whom the rulers of the Mitanni apparently worshipped.
