Ashton Sims

Ashton Sims (born February 26, 1985 in Sutherland, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby league player for the St George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League competition. His position of choice is at prop forward though he also often plays at second row.

In a 2004 match against the Newcastle Knights, Sims was returning a goal-line drop-out when he was smashed in the face by Clint Newton. He suffered a cut below his mouth and mild concussion, but returned in the second half. In turn, Newton was sent off and did not return for the season.
