Ashton Ryan is an American gay pornographic actor (porn star) from Chicago, Illinois who makes pornographic movies, initially as an exclusive for Junior Studios.

Ryan fits in the twink-category of gay porn performers (due to his young age when he started his porn career, smooth body (without body hair), and slight muscle tone), and has performed mostly in scenes with other "twinks". Ashton Ryan started his work in the porn industry in 1999, when he recorded a movie for Junior Studios, directed by Kevin Clarke. The American Way became an instant success. He joined Junior Studios together with his boyfriend Christian Taylor, who also performed in The American Way.

The American Way was followed by two sequels in 2000 and 2003, all starring Ashton Ryan, directed by Kevin Clarke, and owing a lot of their success to Ryan's popularity. The American Way part 3 was the 2004 GayVN Winner for Best Specialty Release – 18 to 23. Ryan also was nominated for the 2000 GayVN Award for his performance in The Heartland. After a short break in his career, Ryan continued filming a new movie in 2005. He also performs on a live internet sex site. Currently, Ashton Ryan lives in Southern California.

In early 2007, Ashton appeared on the Jason Curious show in which allegations of his lying about his HIV status came to light. A number of individuals have come forward claiming that Ashton knowingly had unprotected sex with them while aware of his status. A rift with his former producer, Kevin Clarke, led to claims of Ashton infecting dozens of young men with HIV. Jason Curious proposed that Ashton be tested at Jason's expense to quell these ugly rumors. Ashton declined this offer on advice of his attorney.
