Ashley Ward

Ashley Ward (born November 24, 1970 in Manchester) is a retired English footballer. He was a centre forward, noted for his strength and ability to retain control of the ball.
He played for at least a dozen different clubs in a long career, including Crewe Alexandra, where he made his name, Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers and Bradford City. He retired in the summer of 2005.
He now runs a luxury property development company, specialising in the building and renovation of luxury homes in Cheshire. He has built many footballers' homes, including those of Kevin Campbell and Wayne Rooney.

Ward holds the dubious honour of being the player relegated most times from the Premiership, happening on a total of four occasions (with Norwich City in 1995; Barnsley in 1998; Blackburn Rovers, 1999; and Bradford City in 2001).[citation needed]
