Ashley, Cheshire

Ashley is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Macclesfield, Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 261. The village is close to the border of Cheshire with Greater Manchester, and is just to the south of the M56 motorway. The village is the site of Ashley railway station.
