Ashland Middle School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ashland Middle School, located in Ashland, Massachusetts is an old but important school to the people of Ashland.

The school is only half used, since a new high school has been built, which freed up a wing at Ashland. Out back there is a football field, for the Ashland Clockers. In the front is a stone commemorating the graduating class of 2000. There are now three grades in the school; 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.

The grades are each split up into teams called Wind, Earth, Water, or Fire. Wind and Earth are 7th grade, and Fire and Water are 8th grade. There are two floors, each with two main hallways. There are also two gyms, two main parts of the school, and two parking lots.

The eighth grade takes a field trip to Washington D.C. at the end of the year; the seventh grade can choose to take a trip to New Hampshire for hiking. There are many sports activities, including cross country, lacrosse, track, soccer, and golf. The girls can play field hockey, and there is a new ultimate Frisbee team this year.
