The Ashland Independent Film Festival occurs in April at the Varsity Theatre in Ashland, Oregon, USA.

In the intimate movie house setting, filmmakers participate in their screenings and after the films speak with audience members who seek a closer look into the creative process. The AIFF is made possible by over 200 volunteers working with the staff and filmmakers to create an experience that audiences and filmmakers want to return to year after year.

Ashland is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, acclaimed as one of the top five regional theaters in the country by Time magazine in 2003. Scenic Crater Lake National Park is nearby.
