Ashi (Black Speech)

Ashi in the Black Speech of Mordor means "The One" and refers to the One Ring (Ash Nazg) of Sauron. The word does not appear in the novels by J. R. R. Tolkien, but it appears in the The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring film by Peter Jackson, which is based on the writings of Tolkien.
