Ashbury (Bexley, Ashbury, Silverbirch, Kilmaine, Ballycrochan) is a district on the south-east side of Bangor, County Down in Northern Ireland. It is an area of the south of the town, with a population of approximately 12,000, fifth largest district (population) in Bangor.
Ashbury has two primary schools:
Kilmaine Primary School, opened in 1975 but has recently been knocked down and completely rebuilt into a new state of the art Primary School and nursery. This £4 million project was completed and officially reopened in November 2005 by North Down MP Lady Sylvia Hermon.
Ballymagee Primary School was opened in 1994.
