Ash Soan

Ashley "Ash" Soan is a UK drummer.
Soan's first big break was touring with Tom Robinson in 1993-4. Work with Del Amitri followed. Soan left Del Amitri in 1997 and has done varied session work since, including touring with Faithless, Lisa Stansfield, Rick Wakeman, Belinda Carlisle, Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook and recording with Ronan Keating, Sandi Thom, Brian McFadden, Marianne Faithfull, Hear'Say, Squeeze (including on Domino, 1998) and Chris Difford. Recent work includes playing live with Lewis Taylor. He is now a member of The Producers along with Chris Braide and Trevor Horn. Soan also has his own band.
His influences include Art Blakey and Buddy Rich.[1]
