Asbury Automotive Group is a Fortune 1000 company based in New York, New York, and was founded in 1995. This company operates auto stores and franchises.
Asbury Automotive Group, Inc., (NYSE: ABG) headquartered in New York City, is one of the largest automobile retailers in the U.S., with 2005 revenues of approximately $5.5 billion. Built through a combination of organic growth and a series of strategic acquisitions, Asbury now operates through geographically concentrated, individually branded regions. These regions operate approximately 87 retail auto stores, encompassing 120 franchises for the sale and servicing of 33 different brands of American, European and Asian automobiles. Asbury believes that its product mix contains a higher proportion of the more desirable luxury and mid-line import brands than most public automotive retailers. The Company offers customers an extensive range of automotive products and services, including new and used vehicle sales and related financing and insurance, vehicle maintenance and repair services, replacement parts and service contracts.

David McDavid Auto Group (www.mcdavid.com) located throughout the state of Texas (Irving, Frisco, Plano, Austin, Houston). The McDavid group of dealerships dates to the mid 1960s. Today the McDavid brand name is one of the best known and most respected in Texas Automotive retailing. The McDavid group operates ten domestic and import franchises throughout the Lone Star State.
Crown Automotive Group (www.crownauto.com) Crown Automotive has grown from a single Pontiac showroom into one of the largest and most progressive dealer groups in the southeast, with 19 dealerships in 8 cities in 3 states(VA NC SC), a mega body shop, and more than 1,450 employees. The Jackson stores started out as part of our Arkansas platform, but as we acquired other companies and reached critical mass, Mississippi became its own platform in mid 2001. Bobby Gray started in the automotive industry in 1972, and with a combination of down-home values and friendly service, ultimately grew Gray-Daniels Ford into the highest volume Ford store in a 7-state region. Today, the Gray-Daniels auto family is the largest in Mississippi and it includes 12 franchises.
Nalley Automotive Group (www.nalleyauto.com) Jim Nalley was the first partner to join Asbury, in 1997. Although now retired from operational activities his focus of motivating employees to provide great customer service continues through Charles Oglesby and his team. The Nalley name is the premier name among the Atlanta area dealers and is known for excellent customer service.
Northpoint Auto Group (www.northpointcars.com) North Point dealerships were established in 1983. Today the group operates 12 domestic and import franchises in the Little Rock Arkansas metro. The view of North Point’s founder, Mack McLarty, continues to be customer service is a top priority and epitomizes the customer-focused approached of Asbury.
Spirit Automotive Group, (www.spiritautos.com) Spirit Automotive Group is Asbury's newly established Southern California family of dealerships. The Spirit name will become a familiar brand delivering a superior buying experience and excellent service to drivers in Southern California.
Plaza Motor Company, (www.plazamotors.com) Plaza’s niche is the luxury car market. It bills itself as the “Luxury Car Center of the Universe” and its five dealerships sell only the cream of the crop: Infiniti, BMW, Cadillac, Porsche, Audi, Land Rover, Lexus, and Mercedes. For dealer John Capps, superior customer service is “the price of entry when you’re dealing with luxury cars. It’s been a top commitment since day one.”
