De Vries crater is in the bottom part of this picture. This image was created Apollo 17 mapping metric sequence, revolution #14. It is at selenographic coordinates 18.30° S, 176.20° W, on the far side of the Moon. This picture was produced by reducing a Hi-res image to 25% of full size, then rotated 90° counter-clockwise so that north is to the top.
