Mills crater (center) on the far side of the Moon. This image was taken during the Apollo 16 mapping metric sequence, revolution 28. The selenographic coordinates of this image are 8.40° N, 156.20° E.
This picture was produced by cropping the Hi-res image, rotating 90° counter-clockwise so that north is toward the top edge, then reducing it in size by 50%.
