Arvydas Macijauskas (born January 19, 1980 in Klaipėda, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player currently playing for Olympiacos BC of the Greek League.

He is 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) and he weighs 214 lb (97 kg). One of the most accurate 3-point shooters in Europe, often maintaining season accuracy percentages around 50%.

He holds the second record of all time in consecutive successful free throws, scoring 94 before missing on the November 26th 2003 game against Alba Berlin for the Euroleague.

During the Eurobasket 2003, which he conquered with Lithuania, he was top scorer of his team.

He played in the 2004-2005 Euroleague final of the Moscow Final Four, after qualifying over CSKA Moscow in the semi final.

He signed a four-year contract worth 9 million Euros with the Greek team Olympiacos on July 20, 2006. He sustained an Achilles tendon injury on September 16, 2006 during a friendly game and he is expected to recover in 4 to 5 months. His international career is currently unclear. He stated that 2006 may have been his last year in the national team. He criticised the management and coaching of the Lithuanian national team and stated that coaches don't care enough about the health of the players.

Following the 2005-06 NBA season, Macijauskas returned to Europe, and later strongly criticized the NBA, his former team, and former coach Byron Scott, saying, "I want to forget that year. Everything went wrong. A really bad coach, a bad franchise...The NBA isn't fun. Teams are no teams, there's no true commitment between the teammates. Everybody is always talking about money and business, so it seems it doesn't matter to win or lose." [1]
