Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Milking Bank Primary School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My problem is that non-notable roughly translates to "it doesn't interest me and I've never heard of it". I know Wikipedia is "NOT" a catalogue of everything that exists, but we do have very detailed (i.e. long) articles about completely "unencyclopedic" topics: the minutiae of every computer-related topic imaginable, individual Transformers toys/characters to name but two examples. Ironically enough it is these articles (on Transformers) that the person proposing Milking Bank Primary School for deletion has made major recent contributions to. So I repeat, schools may not be notable to you but does that mean they are less significant/encyclopedic than Hilary Tachibana (a minor character in season 3 of some "anime" thing, I understand)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.104.212.155 (talk • contribs).

  • If you feel they have no notability according to all the Wikipedia guidelines, then be bold and nominate them for deletion. Fiddle Faddle 10:52, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Please don't tell lies about your fellow editors it creates bad feelings. What "major" edits have I made to transformer articles? one suggestion for adding addition information (in that I saw something about transformers mentioned somewhere and was bring it to the attention of editors there because I know next to nothing about transformers) and one removal of original research from another article - I'd hardly described that as "major" within themselves and within my overall edit record. --Charlesknight 10:54, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
