[edit] Vote for non-deletion
This article should not be deleted -- but it certainly can be improved. Wikipedia is loaded with small articles on local hot-spots that may be unfamiliar to people outside of that niche. The main reason why people are voting to delete this article is b/c Hoagie Haven isn't famous enough (not notable), but that's a poor reason. --Heesung 02:40, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
- It's a poor reason in itself, but it implies two very good reasons: that anything other than 'this place exists' will be extremely hard to verify, and that it's not worth independent editors' time to keep the article free of POV (positive or negative) and unverified information. We know people that want to insert such information exist because they started the article in the first place. If there are similar articles, they should also be deleted. Wikipedia is not a travel guide, which means we don't include 'local hot-spots' unless they have gained some kind of wider notability. --Malthusian (talk) 09:47, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
