Comment. Wikipedia says The original motivation for the no original research policy was to combat people with personal theories, such as cranks and trolls, who would attempt to use Wikipedia to draw attention to their ideas and to themselves. The rule is ok, however it is very generalized. While this rule is important for 'serious' topics such as politics, biography, theories, society, science etc, I see no evil in less important topics such as computers games. IMHO this article is just observation. It may never have been published before. So what? Play the games and you will verify that A LOT of them feature exploding barrels.
