why was this deleted when there was no consensus that does not make sense

8 keep 16 delete 3 merge 2 merge/delete

and also did you know some of the deleters were made before it expanded Yuckfoo 05:21, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

It was redirected because (from your stats) there were 29 voters, only 8 of whom wanted it to be kept. That's not even a third of the votes, so consensus was that the voters on the whole didn't want the content. --Idont Havaname 06:42, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
Actually, the closing admin didn't put a redirect, they did a delete, which they conceded was a mistake, and reversed (so it's now "no consensus"), which is what the original here comment is about. 3 of the 5 merge voters did want the content. I put the redirect in place, but that's not based on the AFD (and anyone is free to change it). Technically, according to the rules, the history should be restored, but since there's so little, I'm not too concerned (anybody is free to just write a full article if that's what they wish). But, let's be clear, there was *no consensus* to remove the content. --Rob 18:55, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
Sorry, but I make this 8 to keep the article, and 18 to delete it. That's a vocal minority to keep at best. Chris talk back 14:56, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
